LIG Hosts Successful Drive Day Event with Exciting Discounts and Family Fun

On Saturday, January 25, 2025, LIG hosted its inaugural Drive Day event, featuring both a mega and clearance sale, offering customers the chance to take advantage of significant discounts. The mega sale included up to forty percent (40%) off on truck parts from brands like FP Diesel, Moog, Monroe, Walker, and National Oil Seals, while the clearance sale offered discounts of up to eighty percent (80%) off on selected items. Leading up to the event, The Drive Domination Truck Head Design Competition was held giving creatives the chance to win up to $125,000 in cash and prizes. The competition resulted in three winners with Kaheem Harris taking first place with $100,000, Sonica Neita claimed second taking home $30,000 and Turac Samuels securing third place receiving $15,000, along with prizes from our sponsors. A large display showcasing the winning design was set up on-site for all attendees to view. LIG appreciates every designer who participated in the competition and recognizes the creativity, dedication, and hard work they put into their designs, their efforts are truly acknowledged, and we are grateful for their valuable contributions. 

Aside from the sale, the event featured a wide variety of activities including cash prizes and giveaways for patrons. LIG welcomed title sponsors Valvoline powered by Automotive Art and Foton powered by ATL Automotive, along with silver sponsor Total Energies. The event showcased sleek, striking Mortal Kombat stylized trucks from Delcour Logistics Ltd, captivating truck enthusiasts with their bold designs and commanding presence. The company’s loyal customers, along with many new faces, turned out in full force for the highly anticipated Saturday opening, eagerly expressing their excitement and satisfaction. Many attendees brought friends and family to enjoy the fun, engage with our sponsors and make the most of the special discounts. 

Automotive Art, the Caribbean’s largest auto-care retailer of car enhancement products and services, is also the exclusive licensed distributor for the Valvoline product line. As a co-title sponsor for the event, the company showcased a variety of auto-care products at the event, highlighting their extensive range. During the event, Business Development Manager Peter-Jon Ferguson shared valuable insights with the host, dispelling the common misconception that not all oils are suitable for every vehicle, and explaining how to choose the right oil for optimal performance.

ATL Automotive, renowned for its exclusive distribution of various brands to the Caribbean and tailored services for over 27 years, showcased an unbeatable display. The exhibit featured one of their many brands, Foton, which included three different vehicles: Foton Tunland C7, Foton C2 Panel Van, and a three-ton Foton Miller Box Truck. Each vehicle is touted for its durability and affordability, making them an attractive option for potential customers.

Total Energies known for its high-quality lubricants designed to enhance the performance and longevity of various types of vehicles and machinery. Maintaining the high energy, the crowd enjoyed music from Irie FM. A family-friendly atmosphere included a playful Bounce-A-Bout for kids, the popular ‘Bad Dawg’ stand along with participating sponsor Mountain Peak Coffee through Salada and other vendors offering refreshments, however, the fun wasn’t limited to children; adults also engaged in games like Domino and Ludo tournaments, where cash and prizes were awarded to winners. The ‘Cornhole’ game offered another exciting way for patrons to get involved.

The event is proven to be a resounding success, bringing together loyal customers, sponsors, and a vibrant community in celebration. With a dynamic mix of activities, exciting giveaways, and generous discounts, the event exceeded expectations. Attendees enjoyed an engaging atmosphere, from impressive sponsor displays to family-friendly games and competitions. The collaboration between title sponsors and participating partners created a memorable experience for all.
